Welcome to Amy Motorsports, here is a little about the team…

Colby Knappenberger will pilot the car for the 2025 season at Snydersville Speedway on Friday nights and will attend any races on Saturday nights that will be held at Shellhammer’s Speedway in Leesport Pa. 

Colby is a third-generation driver starting with his grandfather Roger. Roger was an accomplished driver winning rookie of the year when he started and won the Granddaddy race of them all, the Freedom 76er at Grandview Speedway.

Colby is the Son of Pete Knappenberger, Pete is an accomplished driver in his own right, racing all his career in small cars. Pete raced Micro Sprints, 600 Modifieds and mostly Slingshots for about 25 years.

Colby began his career in Quarter midgets and as fate would have it, he ended up winning his first race he ever ran. Colby was forced to quit racing when his mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer, the team had to fold for financial reasons. In the meantime, while racing was out of the picture Colby focused his future on music and formed a very successful local band called Maddie Pearl. We will tie both of Colby’s hobbies together to give your business the most bang for your advertising dollar. This is outlined briefly in the explanation of sponsorship opportunities.

As mentioned below in the sponsorship agreement, the band’s website gets an average of 900-1500 hits per month. We direct all our fans to the site for any information about the band, merchandise, schedule, contests and much more. We will be adding a page to the site for the race team and your business will be part of that page and the traffic that comes with it.
